In March of 2024, after about six months of prayer, planning, team building, and Spirit-led growth, Home Church Northwest was planted with a simple dream: to become a life-giving community where people of Skagit County can find a place to belong—a spiritual home that reflects the open arms of the Heavenly Father.

We believe the love of God meets us right where we are. Whether you’re a committed follower of Jesus, a curious seeker, a skeptic, or even an atheist—this is a place where you’re welcome to explore life’s biggest questions in a safe, honest, and grace-filled environment.

We’re a small church with a big heart—all led by volunteers who love Jesus and this valley. From setup to worship to kids ministry, every part of what we do is made possible by a dedicated team of servant-hearted people who give their time and gifts to see others grow in faith.

Our pastor, Alex Gaidai, still works full-time at Boeing as a UX designer while volunteering as a pastor alongside this incredible team. He and his wife, Karina, live in Mount Vernon with their four children, and together they long to see a church where people are formed into Christlikeness, live in deep community, and embody the good news of the kingdom in everyday life.

We exist to worship God, equip the church, pursue the lost, and live as people of the kingdom—right here in the Skagit Valley.
