Join Us for an Hour of Prayer!

On Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM, we’re gathering at the County Courthouse steps to join with leaders, churches, and neighbors from across our city in a simple but powerful act: prayer.

This observance is part of the National Day of Prayer, a tradition established in 1952, designating the first Thursday of May for Americans to come together in prayer and reflection.

The theme for 2025 is inspired by Romans 15:13:​

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”​

During this hour, we will focus our prayers on various facets of our society, including government, education, families, and more.​

Whether you can stay for the entire hour or just a few moments, your presence is valued.​
