“Reflect on how focusing on serving inspired or challenged you this week?”
“Share what God has been bringing to your attention throughout this week.”

Try explain what the core value means in your own words.
Discuss any thoughts that stood out to your personally from the sermon.
Living it Out
Consider trying something new this week, after answering these questions:
- The number one enemy of Christian life is exhaustion. Am I building margin into my days? Do I have space between activities, appointments and tasks? Am I winding down in order to have a good night of sleep?
- (There is no guilt, if you’re in a season of life, where you have to sacrifice yourself for the sake of kids and family. This is more about being wise and asking for help, and investing into our health by living well today. )
- How is my diet? Am I aware of what I’m eating, and how it affects my health?
- Am I becoming more aware of my emotional reactions to those around me?
- Today might be the day, you can answer “How are you doing?” more honestly.
- Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, feeling overwhelmed, or even thoughts of hopelessness, there’s no shame in asking for help. In fact, the sooner you reach out, the better. Healing often begins when we open up and allow others to support us.
- Are there adjustments to my schedule, workload, or diet that I need to make?
- Is it time to get some counseling, or therapy?
- Set and share some small, meaningful and manageable goal for yourself this week.
- Feel free to ask for extra accountability throughout the week, as well as check in on others in your group?
Prayer
Bring to God the things that you have discussed, pray for one another. take turns praying or rotate who gets to pray over everyone each time.
THROUGHOUT THE WEEK
- Continue to pray for those in your group – specifically for what they requested and generally.
- Pray for God to put on your heart a word of blessing or encouragement for the people in your group.
- You can share this personally or when you come to the group.
- Reflect on the passage (and the core value).
- Follow through with your commitments to the group.
- Feel free to ask for extra accountability from each other throughout the week.
