If not follow up with “What do you think you can do differently to be more intentional in the coming week? How can I help?”

“Reflect on how focusing on integrity challenged you throughout this week?”

“Share what God has been bringing to your attention throughout this week.”

Share victories, blessings, and setbacks, share struggles, concerns and prayer requests.

NURTURE: If you have been praying for a person in a group, and God has placed a thought, a word, an encouragement, or a blessing, kindly offer it to them.

Pray for one another and invite God to speak to you in your heart as you transition to reading of the Word.

Living it Out

Consider trying something new this week:

  • Reflect on who or what is forming you into the person you are becoming? What practices in your life contribute to who you are becoming? Are these practices intentional? What intentional practices do you need to implement in your life – so that you may be with Jesus, so that you can become like Jesus, and to ultimately do what Jesus did?
    • suggestions:
      • review your weekly schedule to understand the rhythms of life that shape you
      • reflect on what intentional practices you have already – prayer, reading of the word, solitude, worship with community, generosity, reflection, etc.
      • where can you pluck something out of your schedule, so that time can replaced with you being with Jesus?
      • commit to pray and pay attention for God to guide you in being intentional about your schedules
  • Set and share some small, meaningful and manageable goal for yourself this week.
  • Feel free to ask for extra accountability throughout the week, as well as check in on others in your group?
